SIMPLY JESUS (Passover Celebration) ~ JESUS IS KING
7 Days of prayer in preparation for the Simply Jesus Conference.
Leading up to SIMPLY JESUS (Passover Celebration) the Lord is inviting us to prepare
(consecrate/sanctify) ourselves. We prepare ourselves first and foremost to bring and
present ourselves to Him as living sacrifices, holy, acceptable and pleasing to Him
(Exodus 30:30, 2 Chron. 29:31, Romans 12:1). Secondly we prepare for the expected
encounter with God we are seeking. This is a corporate invitation we see numerous
times in the Bible (Exodus 19:10-11, Joshua 3:5).
With this in mind, over the next seven days we will be praying into the following areas.
We will be believing for an increase in each of these areas as we pursue living lives that
are lifted up and laid down for our KING JESUS.
Read the definition and the scripture and then pray the scripture. Release a prayer of
thanksgiving/praise (for what Jesus has done), a prayer of worship (for who Jesus is)
and a prayer of intercession (for what only Jesus can do).
DAY 1 March 20, 2021 – Greater Desire for KING JESUS
● Desire- Desire, wish, want, crave, covet means to have a longing for. Desire
stresses the strength of feeling and often implies strong intention or aim.
● Psalm 27:4 One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell
in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the [a]beauty of the
Lord, And to inquire in His temple.
DAY 2 March 21, 2021 – Greater Dependence on KING JESUS
● Dependence- The quality or state of being dependent; especially : the quality or
state of being influenced or determined by or subject to another. The state of
relying on or being controlled by someone or something else.
● John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you,
you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
DAY 3 March 22, 2021 – Greater Depth of intimacy and revelation of the love of KING
JESUS
● Depth- Depth is the measure of how deep something goes. The quality of being
intense or extreme.
● Epehsians 3:16-19 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you
with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in
your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in
love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how
wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love
that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the
fullness of God.
DAY 4 March 23, 2021 – Greater Discipline we yield and surrender to from GOD
● Discipline- Train (someone) to obey rules or a code of behavior, using
punishment to correct disobedience.
● Hebrews 12:4-11 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his
children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? 8 If you are not
disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not
true sons and daughters at all. 9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who
disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit
to the Father of spirits and live! 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they
thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in
his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on,
however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have
been trained by it.
DAY 5 March 24, 2021 – Greater Deliverance so that we can worship KING JESUS more
● Deliverance- The act of delivering someone or something : the state of being
delivered especially : liberation, rescue. In Christianity, deliverance ministry refers
to groups that perform practices and rituals to cleanse people of demons and
evil spirits. This is done in order to address problems manifesting in their life as a
result of demonic presences, which have authority to oppress the person.
● Psalm 18:19 He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me
because He delighted in me.
● Matthew 6:13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil
one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
DAY 6 March 25, 2021 – Greater Discovery of knowing KING JESUS
● Discovery- The action or process of discovering or being discovered.Discovery is
the act of detecting something new, or something previously unrecognized as
meaningful.
● Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious
Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know
him better.
● Colossians 1:15-20 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over
all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things
have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him
all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the
beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might
have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or
things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
● Colossians 2:9 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.
DAY 7 March 26, 2021 – Greater Devotion to KING JESUS
● Devotion- If you feel loyal and loving toward someone or something, that’s
devotion. Devotion also means a commitment or dedication to some purpose.
● 2 Corinthians 11:2-3 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you
to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 3
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your
minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
